The sturdy two-person holiday homes were built in 2024, featuring a construction of steel and wood. These sustainable homes are gas-free and powered by 50 solar panels located on the farmyard. The large windows at the front and side provide plenty of natural light. Thanks to their unique elevated position, the spacious glass façade and partially covered balcony offer an exceptional panoramic view.
Your stilt house features a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave/oven, a four-burner induction cooktop, a dishwasher, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The home is electrically heated. There is a separate bedroom with air conditioning, an en-suite luxury shower, and a toilet. On the balcony, you'll find a garden set, and in the garden, there's a traditional beach chair (beach basket).
If you're arriving by car, a private parking space is available. For those traveling sustainably by public transport, the bus stops right at the doorstep of Wad & Loft. Your luggage can be transported with the electric golf cart. In the reception area, we are happy to provide you with information about the surroundings and activities.
Our stilt houses are located near the Wadden Sea dike, where you can enjoy the fresh air, go for a walk, or cycle. A day trip to Terschelling or Vlieland, a visit to the Planetarium in Franeker, or exploring the historic city of Harlingen—everything is within cycling distance from the holiday homes.
